Home made stjärngossestrut (come on, she did her best!) and a pepparkakshustak for breakfast. Celebrating Lucia in exil isn´t easy. But we caught the spirit!

One Culinary Journey

Immacolata, the 8th of december, me and mommy left the house for a lovely walk in the morning, since the babynuoto/babysim was cancelled (public holiday). The sun was shining, the temperature quite cool and the snow glistened on the trees in the park. For lunch, we all (mommy, daddy and me) went to the trattoria in the citycentre where I had spaghetti with fresh basil, fresh tomatoes and acciughe, and for seconds seppie in umido con polenta (små bläckfiskar i tomat- och ärtsås med polenta). Wonderful!

In the evening, I had pasta al sugo (pasta med köttfärsås) but when mommy and daddy had prepared their delicious spaghetti alle vongole (hjärtmusslor) I just couldn´t resist having some of that too. Marvellous!
With these new discoveries in mind and on the palate, I slept peacefully and woke up just as happy as I had went to bed.

And so came the snow.

 And I´m in merino-wool undies.

Me and mom prepared the adventsljusstake this evening. She did steal the pine from the park while out running during lunch hour, but here we just don´t have that many forests so it´ll have to be ok with this.

My younger cousin

Yesterday we went to visit my youngest cousin Enea, born on august the 10th this year. He is nice, but still too small to play wildly with. But of course, it is just a question of time before we can start to make a lot of mischief together. Grown-ups beware!

Last night me and Daddy learned how to handle tantrums on a lecture at my kindergarten. So from now on, whenever Mommy throws one, we know how to handle her;-)

Saturday and Sunday

Saturdays me and daddy (or sometimes mommy) go to "babynuoto" (babysim). In the afternoon mommy took me to the playground, and when we came home, daddy and uncle Enzo were expecting us.

Sunday, it turned cold. Real cold, about 10 degrees celsius. Therefore we had lunch at the trattoria (donkey and polenta), but I slept most of the time. We went to visit my cousins Alessandro, Nicola and Marzia at their grandma´s home in Milan in the afternoon. Lots of fun!
